LADY GAGA FOR SHISEIDO'S JAPAN CAMPAIGN

Ra Ra ra ra ra...........Lady Gaga already has her first booking in the bag for 2015. The singer is the new face for Japan Shiseido ad campaign. No better person i say! If your like me and follow Gaga you'll understand why she got this beauty job. 

Gaga once said "Sit in front of the mirror with all of the paints and colours and wigs that you have at your disposal,and just have a real talk with yourself". 

The campaign is for Gaga to take 50 selfie shots which also makes her the photographer (hence selfie). The first bulk of the selfies are going to be used in different Japanese newspapers were they will be published on January 1,then the rest on January 5. Unfortunately little monsters this side of the world won't get to see any of this advertising as there are no plans to release it here (boo). I'm sure she won't want to disappoint her fans and I'm sure she'll find a way to give us a sneak glimpse of snaps from this shoot ;)

CHRISTMAS TIME

Hey hey my Bubble heads,

How's everyone Monday?

Hope everyone had a wonderful and magical day last Thursday!! From me to you I'm wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a very bubbly New Year. Here's what i got up to over the Christmas period :). I was in work this Christmas Eve as for the past few years i haven't. Can't complain as i was off a few days before the madness ha ha. It wasn't too painful for me as i noticed everyone was in a really good mood. After work myself and four other girls went up to The Eden pub to have a few Christmas Eve drinks. The pub is only up the road from us,very handy! When we walked into the place it was packed and there was a great atmosphere. 

Christmas morning was here with great excitement. Just had to wait for the rest of the family to wake up and open our presents all together. It wasn't too long ;). I'm so happy and very grateful with what i received. Really love my beauty organiser,now i can finally put all my make-up products together and keep it all in one place. As you can see from the picture below i got some Essence and W7 make-up products. A new mi moneda coin for my chain,socks,selection box,a DVD and a bracelet. After all that it was time to get some breakfast into us. Let's hear it for the good old hearty fry-up. This is also a time were we aren't watching the calories. Then its onto planning of what movies we are going to be watching for the day on the box.

Me I'm very proud to say that this was the year i put together my first traditional Christmas Day feast. I love cooking and i really wanted to do it this year. I started with the Ham boiling in a pot,then i put the Turkey in the oven. The vegetables i went with were Brussels sprouts along with crispy bacon bits. Carrots and parsnips covered in honey. Roasted potatoes with cumin seeds,salt and pepper and homemade stuffing. Oh i could eat it all again. None of it was wasted either on this day as my mam and sister and myself really enjoyed it. Christmas is a time to be with family and friends but not everyone out there is in a safe and protected environment. I do what i can through-out the year with charities and just before Christmas i did a few more good deeds. I brought up old towels to the DSPCA for all the four legged canine,some blankets and a couple of sleeping bags to a homeless shelter in town. Always feel really good when i do something like this. Hope everyone has a great New Year :)

DITA VON TEESE TEAMS UP WITH CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN

Oh Dita.......The burlesque queen is teaming up with her longtime friend Christian Louboutin to work on their first ever limited edition lingerie collection. The seven piece line will be called XXXtian which will include bra and panties,bodice with suspenders,kimono. All the pieces will feature black lace and an all over print designed by Christian and will also feature red swarovski crystals.

"The print originally appeared on Louboutin shoes and a bag and features images of me feather fan dancing perched in my birdcage and wearing Louboutins of course! You'll also find some risque fetish scenes in print".

The pieces are only available on Glamuse.com and the cheapest piece starts around 100.00,while the italian silk robe is priced around 800.00. Start saving the pennies now lol.

RIHANNA FIRST EVERY DIAMOND BALL

Shine bright like a diamond.......Doesn't Rihanna just look simply beautiful. The singer pulled off her first every Diamond Ball all in aid of charity. Her event was held in Beverly Hills at The Vineyard all in aid of Clara Lionel foundation,an organisation that works to improve the quality of life for communities globally in the areas of health,education,arts and culture. Rihanna stood in front of the paparazzi in this gorgeous rose Zac Posen gown and this magnificent pear shaped ruby Chopard necklace. 

Of course the singer had a lot of famous faces at her special night. Brad Pitt,Salma Hayek,Tyrese,Ne-yo and the singer family. Wouldn't you love to be there? Rihanna foundation is inspired after her grandparents Clara and Lionel Braithwaite and founded in 2012."One of the greatest benefits of my job was being able to start the Clara Lionel foundation in honor of my grandparents"said Rihanna."There is truly nothing I'm more proud of and we've just gotten started. I'm excited to continue my work and thrilled to be able to host the Diamond ball-a night that promises to be elegant and inspirational." It sure looked like it Rihanna :)

SATURDAY NIGHT

I had my Christmas meal on Saturday night with the work crew. I was in work till 6 that day and the meal was at 8. I had to prepare the night before. The usual things for us girls to do for a night out. Tan,pick out an outfit,nails etc etc. I picked out a comfy attire for this night as we we're all heading to a restaurant an then on to the local pub beside it. I firstly meet up with Julia as she just lives up the road from me. We planned to head to the restaurant together. While there i was told that we we're getting a lift,happy days! It was great as we didn't have to organise a taxi ;). The night was light,easy and enjoyed. The restaurant was Little Caesars which was only down the road in Rathfarnham. We chose from their Christmas set menu which was a three course meal at 22.95. 

I went for their Polpette which was meatballs in a tomato sauce as a starter. My main was chicken breast with spinach and mushroom done in a creamy sauce. Profiteroles i went for as a dessert. Thank god i wore the comfy attire ha ha. Outfit of the night was my black leather trousers from Penneys. My new cute little cream top with crochet sleeves. Tan was Cocoa Brown 1 hour a light glow will start to develop within the hour. Then on wards it will start getting darker for you. It is so easy to apply as its available in a mousse,quick drying and you don't get that sticky feeling. This was my spray tan of the summer. Haven't a bad word to say about this brand :).

MENSWEAR INSPIRED OUTFITS

It's not always the men that like to get suited and booted in their tailored suits. Every now and again a female likes to pull one out of the wardrobe to wear to an event. Sometimes you simply get bored of putting on a glitzy dress and you just wanna look different for that night. In comes the menswear inspired outfit for your night out. Even though i thought this look was finished for this year no Cheryl Fernandez-Versini goes and brings it back on Sunday night. The judge wore a white trouser and blazer suit that was custom made by couture designer Alida Herdst for the result show at the weekend. Along with white heels,she also pulled her hair back in a slick look while wearing a dark plum lip. 

Again i seen the same look on singer Jessie J for the American Music Awards 2014. The songstress was all smiles as she stepped onto the red carpet with her new boyfriend Luke James. Jessie went with her hair straight and parted in the middle. A black clutch with a pair of black strap heels. While her make-up look was simple going with brown tones giving her eyes a smokey look and going with a nude lip. Three Looks:

It doesn't always have to be about wearing the trousers and blazer together. Here's a look at what you can do with the top and the trousers from your suit. If the jacket is long enough why not pull off this look. If not get your hands on a tuxedo dress like the picture below. Your still pulling off the suited and booted look. If your not afraid to show off the legs this would be a great office look. 

Why not grab your blazer from your suit an add it to your every day wear. Go on throw it over your shoulders while your out and about wear it with a tee and a pair of jeans. Simply a knitted jumper,trousers and comfy sneakers.

This time take the trousers from your suit team it with a loose t-shirt and leather jacket. Great for a day look or if you want you could pull it off for a night time look too. What do we think of these looks?

The Irish native has been gracing us with her presence for the last couple of years between presenting for MTV,RTE and now back doing I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!Now!. If you follow this ladette on Instagram you would of noticed over the past week she has been doing style diaries of all her latest outfits she has been wearing before going on air. Oh so jealous!. Big fan of Laura and have been for a while. You'll have notice a couple of posts on this blog i have done on her. 

This 29 year old stylish gal looks just seem effortless,flawless and basically just never gets it wrong. While Laura is presenting Celebrity in her little dresses or a crop top teamed with a skirt never get bored of her clothing style. She is also rocking some of the latest piece's of jewellery. Her day time style is no different Laura can be seen in little daisy duke shorts,shirts and ankle rocker boots. Laura loves rocking red lips and the black liner look on her eyes. He's recently become a dad for the second time and you'd wonder were he'd get the time but with great excitement i give you the news that Robbie Williams Farrell menswear line has released a 30-piece collection with none other than PRIMARK :). The new range continues to draw inspiration from Robbie's grandfather,Jack "The Giant Killer" Farrell taking it cues from British heritage design with clean, tailored lines and gentlemanly values.

THREE WAYS TO WEAR LEOPARD PRINT

Happy Tuesday my little bubble heads :)

Here's another trend to keep a watchful eye out for in Winter 2014 Leopard Print. This is another fashion trend that is not going to go away any time soon. If your like me and already have some leopard print piece's in your wardrobe. Well not to worry then your already on trend ;). My one big hate peeve though please do not walk out your front door in head to toe leopard print as this is a BIG no no. I've decided to help you out and pick these three looks with wearing leopard print all the while your still look classy,sassy and sexy :).

Wearing Leopard Print

If you have a pair of leopard print heels take inspiration from the picture above. If you decide in wearing an all denim outfit or an all black outfit why not pop the leopard print heels on to break your outfit up. 

If you have a jacket like me well then i simply pop my jacket on at the weekends or if I'm out and about on special occasions. It looks great with your leggings and a pair of boots or if you have a pair of leather trousers and a casual t-shirt. Just go with the look above a dark denim shirt with black leather trousers.

What about this gorgeous green slit thigh leopard print skirt with a white crisp shirt. Again the look is not over the top simply breaking up your outfit. This look would look great for going out with your girls or maybe even a date!! What do you think?

With the cold days creeping in what better way to keep the body warm than with a staple winter wardrobe piece. Faux fur gilet these are on trend at the moment and in fact will never go out of style. AMY HUBERMAN CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN FOR NEWBRIDGE SILVERWARE

Red,Green and Silver........Amy Huberman what can i say about this gal. Doesn't she look fantastic in the latest Newbridge Silverware Christmas campaign. With Amy being pregnant for the second time she really pulls off the old Hollywood glamour to a tee in the photos for Newbridge.

The actress/best-selling author has been the face for the company for the last two years and I reckon Amy will be the face for longer. As we can see from the picture above gorgeous Amy is busily decorating up a tree with one of Newbridge silverware tree decoration. My mam absolutely loves these every year without fail one of their tree decoration is hanging from our Christmas tree. Be it a present or she buys one herself i reckon this year is no different. Think she might have about 5 or 6 of these Christmas decorations. They are beautiful when hanging from a branch.
