STEAL HER STYLE CIARA

Happy Sunday :)

Doesn't Ciara look fierce? During the week of Nyfw it was revealed that she was named as the new brand ambassador for Topshop. While there was a dinner held for Ciara in her honour surrended by friends including Jourdan Dunn,Irina Shayk and Emily Ratajkowski. It was in fact her outfit that caught my eye. The cutout mini dress and bomber jacket worked well together. While of course both are from the Topshop range,so it means no splashing the cash. Here's what Ciara said about becoming the new face for Topshop.

"So cool hearing sir Philip introduce me as the new brand ambassador for @Topshop #usa!!!I'm so excited!#topshop.

NYFW 2015

NYC is the place to be......It's all kicked off in New York City with the capital biggest fashion event on the calendar getting off the ground. As i'm sitting here watching live streams and drooling a little over myself by the s/s16 piece's. The models are strutting down the catwalks in some gorgeous piece's. The fashion shows are a teasing taste bud for the amazing designers to show off their latest collections for s/s16. The shows began on Thursday the 10th an then it will shut up shop on the 17th,hence fashion week ;). So far a lot of very clean tailored looks. While some of the piece's are very elegant and sophisticated. We still see some pastel hues, along with some big coloured piece's! Watch out for yellow, orange, pink and not forgetting the good old white and black is still going strong with some of the designers, jealous much!

U MAGAZINE STYLE SCHOOL EVENT

Happy Monday Bubbleheads,

It's a new week for more new adventures :)

I know I'am very late with this blog piece but it's here now. A while back I took a trip down to the Sheraton hotel in Athlone. Reason I entered and won a competition from U magazine to attend their event Style school. I could only make this as a day trip,so I didn't really get much time in having a proper nosey around Athlone town.

Hopefully I can make that trip again and spend a few more days down there ;). It was a great day that held a fashion show which had all the latest clothing piece's. A make-up demo done by Judith Wong using all the latest in No.7 products. Then it was a great pleasure in listening to Courtney Smith talk about her love of fashion and what she loves from her wardrobe. After all that entertainment it was of course some grub to fill the belly with. The event was made more special as I ran into some fellow Irish bloggers that I had the pleasure in meeting at some of Galway events.

Great little catch up there with the girls. The event was over and as we made our way to exit the hotel I made a quick visit into Athlone town centre which was right beside the hotel. I wanted to go in an have a look for something to wear as I was heading to the Taste of Dublin the next day but also I couldn't waste a perfectly good gift card ;). It certainly didn't go to waste though as I spotted a gorgeous little navy summer dress in H&M for only 15euro,delighted!

WhatIWore:

White Love t-shirt from Boohoo
Leopard print pencil skirt
Brown heels

STEAL HER STYLE SELENA GOMEZ

Why oh why didn't Selena Gomez wear this Gabriela Cadena dress for walking the red carpet of the VMAs. The singer rocked this black sheer inset zipper dress from inside the awards show. While later she was snapped in the gown making her way into the Sunset Tower hotel for Republic Records after party.

She paired the dress with black aquazzura bel air plateau sandals. She also kept it very simple with only her bracelet as the one piece of jewellery. Well to me the dress was doing all the work. Here's a simple and very sexy look for way less :)

SOME PLACES I WANT TO SEE

Happy Tuesday :)

Dream big they say!!!

I reckon some or most of us have either made or are thinking about making a list. Whether it's a bucket list or wish list we all have them dreams that we just want to turn into reality. Lately though I've started thinking/planning on making a list. I'm 32 not getting younger and life is way to short to let those dreams go by. The world is a big place with lots of beautiful countries that have the most amazing spots on earth. I want to start scratching off a few more of those places. Whether it's the beautiful counties here in Ireland or hopping on a plane to travel I want to see it.

The travel bug is here and it's fighting to get out. So far I've seen a couple of great spots, but I'm one of those that when deciding on where to go i'd rather go and see a different part of the world.I just can't do with going back to the same spot time and again. With making your list you always have those certain places that you just keep talking about even when you we're younger and want to get there and see it. Well those are the ones that go straight to the top of the list. I have a few of those places picked and I want to share with you some of them not all, well it is my list after all lol :)

Destinations:

Thailand

Thailand well what can I say. Just looking at those photos showing the most spectacular scenery and all those beaches to chill out on. Why not get yourself doing some island hopping from Phuket,Phi Phi to Koh Nangyan doesn't it make you just want to hop on a plane and go now :).

Italy

Sicily was one place I was lucky enough to see but for me a bit more exploring of mainland Italy would be a dream. Whether it's to head to Vienna for a gondola ride,go to Rome for the colosseum or a bit of shopping in Milan ;).

New York

New York for me again has always been on the top of the list. It's the city of dreams, right! Why not go to the one place you want the biggest dream of yours to come through. For some reason I've always wanted to go here around Christmas time. It always to me looks so magical. Anytime though would do for seeing Times square,to ride around in a yellow cab and of course not forgetting to check out the empire state building.

London

Why not it's right across the pond. We really don't need any excuse for not getting on a plane to go see some of London tourist attractions. Maybe spot a royal, check out Hyde park or go around on the London eye hopefully this is going to be done soon ;)

Hope you enjoy the piece
