SALT THERAPY SMALL PIECE

Last Tuesday beauties i headed over to Blackrock village to the Salt Therapy Wellness Centre. I came across this voucher on Livingsocial deals website and straight away got it,when getting this i did think it was some form of new beauty treatment but its not,it was more for your health than anything. The voucher was a introduction into salt therapy for people that got it. So when i rang to make my appointment the guy on the other end gave me more information on salt therapy and asked me why was i getting it done in the first place. I didn't understand at first were he was going with it but then he threw out a couple of suggestions and then i got it. This is used for people that suffer with sinusitis, asthma, allergies, psoriasis and for me i am a sinusitis sufferer and asthma which it is all connected.

Its a 45 minute natural drug free session and the time you get you need to be there 15 minutes earlier. You just wear your normal clothes but you do get shoe covers for your shoes because when you walk into the room its all covered in salt. The reason your giving the time is because its on a timer and when your in the custom built salt-room a fan called a halo-generator goes on which blows out the grinded down salt and your also told to breathe through your nose so that the particles of salt gets into your system and down into your lungs. As you can see from the picture above their are a couple of chairs in the room,it'll take up to five people so when i arrived i was sharing the room with another sufferer. He told me he's been doing it for a month and noticed a change in himself which is a good sign. When i was relaxing with a blanket over me i did noticed my nose was starting to run and that is one sign of it working. It is also something i'm really thinking of doing a couple more sessions of because i do suffer really bad with chest infections and when i get them its really not nice.

Adult Saltroom are open on Mon,Tue,Thu and Sat :
1 session is 30e
5 sessions 120e and they do have a membership plan too :)

If anyone is interested check out Salt Therapy.

VINCE CAMUTO LAUNCH

Last Thursday beauties me and my sister headed along to Vince Camuto Launch party held in Arnotts on Henry street. Thanks to U magazine that is how i got the pass for me and my sister. Their facebook page put out a status to say the first 50 people that reply will get a pass for you and a friend,so i took the risk and lucky enough i receive a email back saying i got one :)). Thanks U magazine x. Who is Vince Camuto i hear you say!! Vince Camuto is Italian/American fashion designer of American woman's footwear who is known for co-founding the woman's fashion brand Nine West. Of 2013 he is the CEO/Chief creative officer of the fashion company Camuto Group.

So we finally got there after my sister made the little mistake of going to Brown Thomas instead of Arnotts ha ha. The little boutique where Vince Camuto Handbags were on display was jam-packed with the winners of the passes. We received a little goodies bag and listened to a girl describe the bags and how and what you would team them with. Now after all it is a fashion designer and the price tags were outta my league but they are worth their money, 200 euros to be precise. So after the girl finished her piece we got to have a quick look at the bags that were on offer so between your clutches and your handbags and a couple of pairs of shoes i would of walk off with it all ;).

We we're also treated to some caramel macaroons and some little squares of chocolate truffles which was teamed with a glass of bubbly, how could you say no to that he he. All in all it was a nice little event especially something to do on a Thursday night when you have been off for a week from work. My outfit for the event was a leather flowy skirt and my Homies t-shirt as you can see from the picture above. My chain is my Mi Moneda that i got from birthday money and my lipstick of choice was No.7 stay perfect lipstick Gay Geranium. In a while now i'll be heading for my Salt Therapy treatment in Blackrock that will be another piece to look forward to :). Beauties hope you enjoy the piece x

LOVE/HATE IS BACK

The one programme i'm looking forward to that is hitting our screens again is none other than Love/Hate. Oh guys i'm a huge fan and have all the last 3 seasons on DVD,that's how bad i am. Since last week when i knew and along with a few other fans is that its hitting our screens again in October on the 6th,who's excited!

Since the last series it left us on the edge of our seats with the whole has Darren survive the 3 gun shot wounds to the head and body but me personally i don't think so as Hollywood has come knocking. This is the one Irish programme i can say i love and enjoy watching every Sunday when it does be played. So what do we have to look forward to there are a few storylines that could happen is that maybe nidge is finally found out!!Poor Tommy gets his revenge on everything and Dano finally gets to the bottom of his fathers death but all in all i'm a big fan and cant wait for it all to kick off :)

EYELASHES

It's Friday my weeeee little beauties, happy days :). Last Sunday myself, mam and sister headed to our little cousin Kallies baby communion (christening) as my cousin Naomi little one Freya calls it ha ha. Shes a little beauty in the making. Lovely day out really enjoyed it and its a great excuse to get all dolled up,not that you need a excuse he he. Its great to see all my crazy family get together :). One item i was definitely putting on me were my House of Lashes eyelashes for this happy occasion :)).

Beauties got these back in August wowzer and as you can see in the picture below i ended up choosing three sets. I went with Dollface,Au Naturale and Bombshell and they were 9$ each. The only thing that doesn't come with them is dolls its the glue which was my only disappointment with them but you can get the glue from the website House of Lashes,i was able to pick up a little bottle of glue from Boots ;). A little on the eyelashes they are designed to suit all eye shapes and you can wear these all the time or on special occasions. There reusable and quite easy to put on to your eyes.

Just noticed they are 100% sterilized human hair so if you have a problem with that theirs no point in getting these. I will definitely be getting more i was really happy with them as no one even noticed i had them on my eyes ha ha. The look i went for in the picture below was just simply a natural look. Went with my Au Naturale eyelashes and just used my Barry M liquid eyeliner and a gold eye shadow and i just put a small amount of mascara on the lashes. It was my first go with the eyeliner in a good few years and was happy with the outcome. Just need to practise more on getting the right flick with the eyeliner. Hope you enjoy the piece my little beauties :)).

JUMPER AND SKIRT COMBO

Just a quick piece before i head off to do a class of Boxfit,oh god give me strength for this ha ha. Its just i seen this look over the last week or so and have to say i really like it. Its a look i would have never put together and i definitely will be maybe for a night out!!The outfit in question is a jumper with a skirt and it makes a great team when its put together.

I came across this look after spotting Jessica Alba wearing a black crop knitted jumper with a gorgeous elegant pink chiffon skirt at New York Fashion Week. I think some people may have seen this look as i also spotted it at London Fashion Week. Alexa Chung went with a thick white knitted jumper and teamed it with a cream pleated leather skirt and her little bow pointed shoes. So what do we think beauties is it a style for you?

COLOUR TREND 2013

Good morning beauties,

Hows everyone morning so far?

As i said on my facebook page a big Good Luck to everyone receiving their Junior Cert Results today xx. Just sitting here having a cup of tea looking throught websites to see what the colour trends are for the Autumn/Winter season. Here are my top five picks of what colours you should be wearing through-out the winter months :

ROSE: From jumpers to big woolly coats and also all sorts of different shades of rose to your shift/cocktail dresses this was a colour at all the fashion shows from Nina Ricci,Lanvin and Jonathan Saunders this is definitely a colour to look out for :)

Lanvin piece

GREY: When i went to the Girls Day Out 2013 grey was heavily featured in the fashion show. I did make a rookie blogger mistake,i left my camera and phone charging in the house,so when i was at the show that is when i realised my mistake, duh! Never again ha ha.

RED: Aw ladies i love red and for some reason i just love seen it in autumn/winter months. So far i've seen a couple of stars rocking the red trend colour as you seen on my facebook page late last night i stuck up a picture of Brooke Vincent from Coronation Street wearing a gorgeous red jumpsuit.

Brooke Vincent

KHAKI GREEN: This is also another colour to be seen in especially in the colder months from Rihanna sporting her own camouflage range from her crop tops to the onesie she was recently spotted in stepping out from the Mercer Hotel in New York. Riri is always bang on trend with the latest fashion,so this will definitely be hanging in my wardrobe this winter.

Rihanna in her Onesie

PURPLE: This is also another colour to keep your eye out for like the red their is also something about this colour been wore in the winter months. From Prada to Gucci and also Christopher Kane purple was somewhere in there shows. With ankle boots and handbags and also trouser suits its a colour to be wearing this season :).

A piece from Christopher Kane show

Hope you's enjoy the piece beauties and also i'm sure that half of us have these colours already hanging in the wardrobe :))

NIGHT OUT

Hey Bubbleheads,

How i love my Mondays off ;). Have to say I've noticed the chill in the air and autumn is definitely creeping in on us. Came home yesterday and noticed a lot of people saying about the cold and pictures of lit fires on Facbook and Twitter :o but enough about that cos i turning myself even colder here lol. Over a week and a half ago myself and my sister headed into The Morgan in Temple Bar to meet our good friends Dara and her boyfriend Niall for Birthday/Engagement drinks. Even though it was Electric picnic weekend it still had a good crowd in it. Always enjoy The Morgan because it is always so busy and there is always a good atmosphere in it too and also peeps its a hotel :).

Myself and my sister then headed up to another club called The Black Door in Harcourt Street to meet another group of friends,i've never even heard of this place but we really enjoyed it. When i walked in and looked over my shoulder i seen none other than WWE Superstar Sheamus raging i never got a picture with him but then again theirs always a next time lol. We went downstairs and two guys were setting up and getting ready to perform to the crowd. One guy was playing the guitar while the other one was on the piano. They played all up to dates tunes and they were brilliant and of course we had to have a bop along to it :)).

My Outfit of choice :

Leather and lace :)

I wore a black mini quilted leather skirt that i got a good few weeks back from Penneys  :)
My top was lace with a little peter pan collar on it :)

My choice of lips of course beauties Red as you know i'm loving Red at the moment i wear it going out and also wear it when i'm going into work. Its Maybelline Moisture Whip Berry Red which i don't think its available anymore cos it was definitely a beauty buy for me when i came across it at a 1 euro.

So that was my weekend out beauties hope you enjoy the piece :))

WAXPERTS

Beauties about two weeks ago i headed over to see my beautician Siobhan for a bit of a beauty ritually for myself and got some waxing done. Its nice to treat yourself ;). When i was there Siobhan was telling me all about this new wax that she has started using on her clients. She told me that her and her sister went and done a course on it. The wax in question is Waxperts and its Irish owned and based in Dublin the creator of this product is known as Ellen Kavanagh. With what waxperts aim is to give you a less painful wax.

Siobhan started by putting on waxperts pre wax oil which had lavender in it. Its used as a barrier to protect the skin and stop it been lifted so only the hair removes and its less painful. When the wax is put on its left to dry and all Siobhan had to do was flick it from the corners and pull it off. She show me one piece of wax and i could see all the bulk heads of my roots from where she pulled at it. Its also done in stages and i found it wasn't messy at all. You do need a bit of length in your hair of were your getting waxed. I would definitely want to use this wax again. With waxperts the same rules apply as with the other waxes no shower for 24 hours,no sunbeds and no fake tan for 24 hours. When i came home beauties i used my Fino soothe after care balm on the area that was waxed and of course beauties don't forget to exfoliate the area. Has anyone tried waxperts or would it be something you'd get done!!!

MY DAY WITH THE MAKEUP FAIRY

Beauties on Sunday i headed into town to the Jury's Inn to do a social media day course that was held by the lovely Joanne Larby of The Make Up Fairy and Siobhan of Sculpt Cosmetics. The class kicked off at 11 and we finished up at half 5. The class was myself and six other girls that wanted to further our knowledge of setting up our own blogs/websites and pages on twitter/facebook and of course other things. I felt this was good for me as even though i do have a blog and a page i still felt i needed to know more and i did, i learnt alot more which i was very happy about :)). The day was spent with Joanne talking about the popular sites to set up on and her own success with her blog and facebook page Make Up Fairy.

It was really good to learn a bit about Joanne's own personal life and shocked to find out that she is only 26 and has done so much already. So we got the chance to take a break and we all headed to the cafe that was in the hotel and i have to say the staff were all lovely and so friendly. Joanne sat with us and of course us girls spoke about make up and we also spoke a bit more on setting up our pages. We headed back to the room and Joanne continued on and spoke more on all the different sort of pages that we could set our pages up on. Its a class i would tell people to go for that are thinking of doing up their own blog and pages. After the class was finished Joanne wanted us all to move to a different room and she handed us all certs and we were all able to take pictures of her with us. That was my day with the Make Up Fairy :))
