COLGATE EVENT

On the 12th of June on a very sunny afternoon in Dublin my mam and me popped along to the Colgate Fashion Extravaganza. The show was held in a venue called Smock Alley Theatre,Dublin 2. The reason we went was the Daily Mail ran a competition on their website i entered and luckily enough i won. Of course i was delighted,who wouldn't be! Free pampering,goody bag,nibbles,some alcohol beverages and of course to watch a fashion show.

When greeted at the door we were told where to go an to my surprise their were two No.7 make-up tables taking part in the pampering. Along with Peter Mark doing hairstyles and Tropical Popical for getting the nails painted. A couple of the queues were pretty long my mam and me decided to sit down an wait patiently on the benches for the fashion show. While sitting we were treated to some nibbles by two lovely girls offering and also gave time to tell us what we were going to look forward to with more of the appetisers . We enjoyed puree parnship and beetroot on little oat and shortbread biscuits. Smoked salmon on brown bread,sausage rolls. Then the best was last little squares of chocolate the one i picked up had a little pinch of sea salt on it,crazy i know but it worked. It was all heaven and it was truly enjoyed by all at the event.

While waiting for the main event to start my mam noticed the line for No.7 getting shorter she made the decision to pop over and get her make-up done. She looked great and completely different like a new woman. Shhhhh don't tell her i said that! Just as she sat down the lights went down an the music got a little louder the show was starting. Five models took part in the Fashion Extravagnza Show they are all part of Andrea Roche Model Agency. A couple of well known Irish celebrities walked the red carpet runaway. Roz Purcell and Rosanna Davison surprisely i thought was still on her honeymoon but no strutting her stuff as she does down the runway. You'll see from my pictures i reckon i got a good spot! The show was broke down into four categories which showcased the hottest trends of the moment. Monochrome,Summer Brights,Full Bloom and Bright Whites.

With the Bright Whites it was all about the hats that the models wore they were Martha Lynn Millinery. When just getting into it it was all over boohoo, not before a raffle had to be done. Unfortunately didn't win anything but well done to the other girls that did. When that was done it was finally over when leaving the building we were all handed a Colgate goody bag ha ha delighted. What was in it here goes Colgate toothpaste,mouthwash,toothbrush,compact mirror and a Colgate pen. Sally Hansen salon effects real nail polish strips,which i have on. Sample bottle of Trilogy skincare it consists of rosehip oil antioxidant certified organic I'm using this at the moment.

No.7 High Shine Lip Crayon Tropical Beach and Karora Instant Tan Glow Glamster. So much goodies was really happy with it all and my mam and me really enjoyed ourselves at the Colgate Fashion Event. Could get use to that what and when is the next event ha ha.
