BEYONCE TEAMS UP WITH TOPSHOP

Who's excited about this latest venture? With huge news i give you the latest collaboration to come out this year. Finally Beyonce and Topshop have teamed up to work together on creating a athletic/fitness street wear range. The singer has created a 50-50 partnership with the British retailer, listed as Park wood Topshop Athletic Ltd.

"This is not a collaboration. This is about building a brand and building a business- a separate, proper business, with separate overhead and a separate office,"Topshop owner Sir Philip Green told WWD over the weekend. "We started talking generally about doing something together. We've been looking at that (athletic) sector for a while. It's something we need to be in. Based on what she does, how she works out,the conversation got into that category."

Beyonce added,"I have always loved Topshop for their fashion credentials and forward thinking."And it's true. The superstar is one of the London-based brands biggest fans. From the stage to the streets, she has represented Topshop quite well. When Beyonce was spotted in a A-line black and white dress in march it was sold out immediately."

The last time we saw Beyonce doing a collaboration with a clothing brand it was back in the summer for H&M.

Sorry Yonce fans the launch for this line is not out until next year a little while to go yet. Who's excited though?

PUMPKIN

I will say I'm a big kid at heart! Just don't wanna lose the kid spirit in me and i reckon i won't. With Halloween just around the corner you can say I'm tres excited!! From my last piece you would of known i popped down to a pumpkin patch the week before. I didn't get to pick one up then it wasn't until last Monday i drove up to my local Lidl store and got my hands on a big chunky pumpkin. It was 99 cent to the kg it work out to be 4.27,good enough for me. I was happy with my buy and drove home a happy customer. Had my chunky pumky sitting in my passenger seat looking forward to creating my craving.

If you bought a pumpkin before you know that they can be a pesty little thing to work on. Also in Lidl i discovered a Halloween colossal pumpkin craving set. I found it while walking up and down looking through all the selected Halloween products. Delighted wasn't the word it was 4.99 an what is available in the set is a super carver, super scooper and a stencil pik. This is available in three different colours. Orange, green and purple I of course went with the purple set. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the set was. I found it very useful with helping me scoop out the inside and found the carver great with getting through the pumpkin it was so easy. As years before i  just used a knife and found it a nightmare to work with it was also a bit time consuming. The stencil pik can be a bit hard on the hand but I reckon it depends on your pumpkin.

With the set you also get a couple of printed picture's which you use to help out with stencilling onto your pumpkin. I chose the skull as you can see from my picture above. I'm very happy with the final look and with the leftover pumpkin you can use it to make a pumpkin pie ;)

Who's looking forward to Halloween :))

WEEKEND SHENANIGANS

Happy Tuesday :)

Here's what I got up to over the weekend!! Doesn't the weekend fly when your having fun :). I think from Monday to Friday we should have off an then just go in an work Saturday and Sunday bahahaha. On Saturday my sister and myself headed over to Rathcoole for a brunch/engagement get together. The eight of us girl's all meet-up in Avoca,Rathcoole for a bite to eat in the Egg Cafe. I will be making a trip back here to have a proper look around. Great choices from the lunch menu that we all didn't know what to have. In the end i went with the crab salad, yummy,um mm! I already have my next pick from the menu the seafood platter ;).

My sister organised a surprise pavlova cake that when you cut into it it had mixed berries inside. It was for Marie who recently got engaged, congrats honey. Jeanie this was huge they went all out for us,fair play. Then again it was soooooo good topped it of with a good old cup of cappuccino. It was time to say our fare wells we asked for the bill and it was a nice reasonable price bill for the eight of us.

With Halloween just around the corner i always wanted to know if anywhere around Ireland had a Pumpkin patch. To my surprise there was :o. This is what myself, sister and another group of friends did on Sunday. Always loved seen pictures of the celebs heading to a pumpkin patch with their family members. I was determined even more. When i found out where we had to head we popped into two separate cars an made the journey down. Our destination was Summerhill,Meath and approximately 40 plus mins. This is open from 10.00a.m to 5.00p.m. Guys get down early enough as its in a field off the back of country roads,so not much parking and bring the wellies as it's quite mucky.

Also to throw it out there this is free apart from paying for your chosen pumpkin. Pumpkins everywhere big ones, small ones and different coloured ones. Pumpkin, pumpkin, pumpkin. The little guy was impress after that nothing more. Maybe they do cravings but i did over hear the owner say they had the boy scouts down the day before,so they probably do do extra activities. After looking at all the pumpkin we decided to make a move back. On the way we did a pit stop into Hattons cafe for some tea/coffee and something small to eat. It was a very cosy little place the decor was so now you'd be surprise. My plate of chicken wings arrived i got stuck in. All the waitress were lovely to talk too. After all was done we had to make our journey back home. When we got home we both put up our feet and just chilled for the rest of the day.

SHOPPING PICK UPS

When you have one of those days about going shopping. You simply tell yourself your only looking but then again you walk out swinging your latest purchase from your hand. Happens to me all the time ;). I popped down to my local Penneys in Nutgrove and Tk Maxx in Carrickmines to have a noisy. My first pit stop was Penneys i actually haven't step foot into this store in some time as i prefer a larger one obviously cos you have more choices. This day was different i had a quick snoop, picked up a few bits and happily walked around the store with my few piece's :).

As i was walking around of course i happened to stumble upon the shoe section. I noticed a pair of over the knee grey boots. As you do about shoes i had a major debate with myself whether or not to get them. Also notice that all eyes were on me from other customers as if i was crazy cos your talking to yourself but in the end i twisted my arm and went with the boots. Well 24.00 euro is not gonna harm the bank balance lol. I also went with picking up some new gym wear. I just felt i need to update my plain old black outfit. As i walked around checking out the Workout range by Atmosphere i was drawn to a pink long sleeved top and grey trousers,ya know i love colour! I'm really loving this combination together lately. With the trousers there is a little hidden pocket but guys really i don't know what your suppose to put in it. Maybe it's for your house key after that wouldn't have a clue. There comfy, soft and they'll do the trick for the time being. Retailing price for the top was 8.00 and trousers 11.00.

PAMPERING TIME

Happy Tuesday folks :)

Isn't it great when you get the time to give yourself a good old pampering. I get the chance to light up my Emma's soy wax melt. Smelling up my room of mint crisp and having the pleasure of lying down with the feet up and getting to put a good aul face mask on my face. It's pure bliss if I do say so myself ;). I just love taking the time to pamper myself for a good 15 to 20 minutes. It's also great when your actually left alone. No one is bugging you to go bring them somewhere that you get the time to enjoy it. Well that's what I get up to on a Sunday afternoon.

Recently I picked up six of the Montagne Jenuesse face mask that were at the price of 99c each but now back to 1.49. I bought them in Boots an I used  my Boots advantage card for the purchase, happy days! There is a great selection from the Montagne Jenuesse range. You can pick up a coconut mud mask to a manuka honey peel off mask. So far I've used two of my six and can't wait for Sunday to roll around ;). I love putting one on as I find it freshen up your face for the new week ahead.

When the hair is tied up and after I have cleanse my face. I use a little spatula to help with the spreading of my mask. Then it's just my time to chill-out. Let the mask go hard an then you need to wash it off. I also think its great that their buav approved and vegetarian approved. They certainly won't put a hole in your purse either. Definitely recommend a Montagne Jeunesse face mask for your moment of pampering. I think they would also be great to have in the house if the girl's pop over. Your having a glass of wine, throw on the mask and you'll have a great girly night. I think everyone should have a pampered Sunday :).

SATURDAY SALSA NIGHT

Hi guy's,

Happy Sunday! How's everyone morning so far? Just doing a quick piece on what I got up to last Saturday night. My sister and myself we're to pop down to one of our friends for a bite to eat and a few drinks.  Unfortunately her little one got sick, we decided not to go down.

Instead I decided to put on a little spread for my sister and me. During that day I was in work I made my way over to Tesco on my lunch break to pick up a few bits. I spotted the new range of Old El Paso Stand and Stuff soft taco kit for 2.49. I chose the garlic and paprika kit. Nice that went straight into my basket. Guys if you know how Old El Paso works you tend to get everything in the box all you have to do is just buy the prefer meat. Which my sister did in the local butchers. I also had the other bits and pieces in my fridge.

I cooked the mince meat with some onion and green pepper. While doing that I popped the soft tacos in the oven at a low heat just to warm them up. I made the guacamole from scratch too. We used spinach instead of lettuce and put together a homemade dressing to pour over the spinach, delicious! It didn't take long to cook and it didn't take long to eat ;)

Has anyone picked up the new Old El Paso Kits?

NIP AND FAB

My moisturiser of the moment is.......... Nip and Fab. How did I come across this product! Well Kylie Jenner stuck up a photo on her instragam a while back of her showing us her latest love beauty products. There was a whole range of Nip and Fab products in the picture, so I needed to investigate myself :)

I also discovered that Millie Mackintosh is now the face of Nip and Fab after she posted about using the brand. Into work I went and I was delighted to spot a couple of the products on our shelves. Even better at the time they were half price :). Back at their original price now of 13.49 they we're 5.49. I picked up this black 200ml squeezable tube body serum. I use it after every trip to the shower and I'm happy to say I'm nearly at the end of the product. That's very unlike me usually if I'm not into a body cream I find myself leaving the rest of it unused on my shelf. I know the title of the product looks a bit gross but I have noticed a little change in myself, even my mam has made a comment about my appearance while I have been using this. That's good right!!!

Viper venom body serum is a ultra replenishing body serum with dipeptide. What that helps with is tighten of the skin to help diminish the appearance of wrinkles. Your skin looks smoother, yup! This serum smells really good and leaves your skin feeling smooth. There is also vitamin e and syn-ake mixed in the serum. I have another product from the range which is a body cream. When this tube is finished I'm going to start using the other one straight away :))

Hope you enjoy the piece :). Happy hump day ;)

PEDAL PUSHING MONKEY

Last night headed into Pedal Pushing Monkey for a bite to eat. The funky cocktail and restaurant bar can be found on Pembroke street in town. My reason for going in was I came across a voucher on living social. It was for 2 people to spend up to 50e on food from their A la carte menu. I was so happy because I got it for 25e.

We headed in for 7 and on entry into the bar we we're greeted by a lovely lady hostess. One side of the bar was been held for a party, so we had to pick a table on the other side and we went with one near the window. Each table had different settings, while all the chairs weren't the same either. I loved it funky, old fashion and cosy. We were handed the menu which were sheets on a clipboard. Everything on the menu looked great I didn't know what to pick.

We started off with our drinks. I went with a tasty looking Mambo (which was by the way) then our starters came. One thing guys the portions are huge. If you ever get the chance to head in I would say choose between a starter or a main course cos you will be full either way. My main course came i went with the risotto which had prawns. I also went with another cocktail instead of a dessert. The waitress actually chose this cocktail for me and it was good. At the end of the meal we got the bill and we only had to put 20.00 toward the bill,I love that :). It was a nice Saturday night that was enjoyed by both.

SUNDAY FUNDAY

Last Sunday my mother, sister and myself headed over to the brand new Tk Maxx store which is located outside on the third level of Dundrum shopping centre. I'm never disappointed as I always walk away from the store with a Tk Maxx bag in my hand.

I was very happy with my two purchases as one of them I've been looking for everywhere. Mason jars with handles i love, love, love these. If you've checked out my facebook page you'd seen a couple of photos of these on it. I picked up 3 pink jars at 5.99 each. On my way to the checkout I got a little distracted by the ladies clothes section ;). I found myself picking up a light long grey blazer jacket for 19.99 which I thought would be nice to wear for Christmas. I feel also grey is a good colour to watch out for in autumn and winter.

We all started to feel a bit peckish, so we headed over to the other side of the shopping centre to the food court. We came across a cosy french style restaurant called Beeftro. We went with the early bird menu were you could choose a 2 meal course for 19.95. The restaurant has only been there for over a year and we never even noticed it before. We all really enjoyed it and I loved the presentation of the way the side dishes came out in. If your down in Dundrum be sure to check it out. Happy Sunday guys :)
