PLEATED SKIRTS

Happy Hump Day,

A while back I wore a black pleated skirt to an event and a good few of you's liked it. I picked my up in Tk Maxx, Carrickmines. This is a great skirt to get as you can also bring it through into your winter wardrobe. With the top I wore on the day people actually thought it was a dress. A good few celebs have also been spotted in this trend Olivia Palermo wearing the trend with black tights and a faux fur scarf jacket. It made me go and find a few more pleated skirts for my bubbleheads followers :)

Don't forget your pleated skirt doesn't have to be just black there is a whole range available for you to pick up. From red to olive green down to the plum I have here from Missguided. I don't want to keep you any longer,so here are my finds:

STYLE CRUSH PERRIE EDWARDS

It's been a while crocodile but here's a new style crush........Perrie Edwards. This Little Mix singer is sure showing the world that a little heart break is not going to dent her fashion style. That is why bubbles beauty blog is loving it. The four piece band are making the rounds at the moment with the release of their new album Get Weird. From the catchy tunes of black magic, salute, love me like you and many more. I actually have a soft spot for this band since X-factor hey days. While that certainly feels many a moons ago the band since then have been very successful.

While I have also noticed since the start of the band the girls fashion has really grown but none more so than Perrie's. From her bohemian looks to rocking the 70's and also her take on the very effortless casual day wear the gurl knows how to rock it. She also knows how to pull off the jumpsuit trend which she wore for Alan Carr last week and rocking a suede dress over a black leather top for this morning Loose Women. The poor thing had to wear a pair of sunglasses in the studio as she was suffering from conjunctivitis. She wasn't being all diva like. Welcome aboard bubbles beauty style crush Perrie. Who else is loving this girl style? Here is more picture's as to why we are loving the singer fashion.

It was not only her clothing look but also her make-up and slick down hairstyle really bowled me over. The dark berry lip and eyeliner flick gave the look that extra vampy, sexy and edgy vibe. She nailed it!! Now pass me a coke I'm thirsty lol.

TINAKILLY COUNTRY HOUSE HOTEL AND GARDENS

Happy Friyay,

Tinakilly house down in Rathdown,Wicklow held a very special day for our friends Marie and Kieran's wedding. The mansion by the sea is a little hidden jem which features 14 acre of land which surround the building, while it's also great to take a little walk around on. It's not my first time here as we had a family meal to celebrate my nanny birthday only a year ago. It was great to head back for a second time and to truly enjoy my overnight stay in the hotel.

The day we headed down for the wedding I didn't really get much time to have a walk around as I had to save it for the next day. The mansion itself has a very Victorian Italianate feel to it and all the bedrooms are decked out with antique furniture which you can also see as you walk throughout the hallways.

The day of the ceremony though was held outside on the grounds in front of the building. We had to take a couple of steps down leading us to the chairs lined out for the wedding party. It was also beside one of the many waterfalls. The service went very swiftly and of course beautiful words were said (hankys were needed) and of course there were a couple of laughs thrown in. We then headed back up around the main building as the groom and his groomsmen took it in turn to give their speeches. I thought that was a great idea as of then the bride and groom could spend the rest of their night to really enjoy themselves. When finally came the call to head to the function marquee for where the main meal was been held. It had a very boho vintage look to the layout of the room and the table. With the bellies full and everyone very happy we began the real night by running to the dance floor to the sounds of fresh beats.

After having a great day and night the next morning I got up an went for some breakfast down to the hotel restaurant. Then it was time to take a walk around the ground and gardens to take in some of the beautiful scenery. While I also noticed from certain areas of the ground you could look out and see the sea. Everyone was so nice and helpful throughout the day that I really can't fault anything apart from my hangover the next day ;). Well to me once I'm dancing the night away and my feet are pretty sore that's a good sign of a wedding put together really really well.

COCOA BROWN PASSION PERSISTENCE PINK EVENT

Happy Sunday,

Well guys I've been in bed since last Monday with the flu. That is why I'm late with this piece but i'll crack on! What a day on Sunday for Cocoa Brown tan passion persistence pink event in The Shelbourne Hotel. I couldn't believe my eyes when I received an email to attend this wonderful event, blogger heaven!

I definitely wasn't letting this event get away from me. No,no,no,no once in a lifetime this was ;).It was also the time for Marissa Carter to reveal the two brand new products that are launching to the line soon, eeekkk! As I was dropped off outside the stunning shelbourne hotel to my surprise there was already quite a big queue forming but at least it was a beautiful sunny morning. Once inside the building I was greeted by the lovely Kate Kelly who is a PR for Cocoa Brown. Not only that but we got a great opporunity to have a photo taking with the boss herself Marissa and well known make-up artist Julia Carta.

As I went further in to find a seat at one of the round tables which for the day was holding over 300 people. Before the event started we had some time to take a gallon load of photos from the day. It was also a great chance to look around an spot anyone you may know. It was as I came across some other bloggers in the room I've meet and follow along my journey so far as a blogger. Here's myself with Jen from too dolly make up. What a great photo together, cheers my dear :).

Finally the boss herself came out on the stage to everyone's delight. After we all calm down she ran through what the day held in store for us. She really got the room going with the mention of spot prizes. If you were lucky enough to lift up your plate in front of you it would reveal a Penneys gift voucher. Luck wasn't on my side that time. The event was started by three make up artists Rosie Connelly,Tara O' Farrell and Aj Fitzsimons giving us a quick demo on doing the latest trend the ombre lips. More spot prizes were given, next as we all had to look under our chair to get the next gift which was a Flormar lipstick and lipliner. Nice more to add to my collection!

Before the delicious afternoon tea Marissa gave us a quick demo on "tonturing" using only three products. A gentle bronzer,1hr tan mousse from the Cocoa Brown line while also using a contour brush. She pulled her sister on stage for this god bless I think she was a little morto! Finally the food arrived we got to pick from the selected sandwiches,to having a nice cuppa tea or coffee along side a very pink cupcake. We can say she loves her pink! After all that it was finally the big reveal of the two products.Marissa stood on stage and began to pull out the two products that have been kept under wraps from us all. To everyone surprise it was two Instant gel tans. One which has a very shimmery gel while the other is a matte gel, oooohhhhhh! Everyone of course was very excited we just wanted to get to our swag bag to have a proper nosey at them.

The final piece was the lovely Julia Carta a global celebrity makeup artist. She started her makeup demo by using Marissa as her canvas which of course she was delighted with. Julia demo was her using all of her favourite brands that she loves in makeup and skincare. While it also gave the crowd a great chance to do an Q&A with the lovely Julia. It was a great day all round and put together by a great group. I loved all the quotes Marissa said through out the day and couldn't believe how funny and level headed she is when it comes to her business.
