NEW TREND SNEAKERS

Who else is living in their sneakers/runners!! At the moment i am guys love wearing my converse or runners with everything e.g leggings,tracksuit and skirts. Why am i saying this well its going to be around for a bit as its a new trend. Whether its high top wedges or just your plain old runners get them out now and put them on your feet :)). I'm going crazy as i tried a pair of white and gold high top wedges yesterday while out shopping and just left them on the shelf,why didn't i buy them :(

As you can see Rihanna is a big fan of wearing her sneakers shes hardly ever out of them. Here she has paired them with her double denim/geek/office look . J lo is also been seen lately in a pair of white high top wedges pairing it with her comfy red tracksuit bottoms.

Two more stars that love their sneakers or high top wedges is Rita Ora and Khloe Kardashian. Rita paired hers here with a simple white dress while out and about. While Khloe teamed hers with a black pleated skirt and black tee while out with her pooch Bernard.

So guys now and again its nice to give our little feet a rest from the high heels and rock a pair of sneakers :))

WHAT I'M LISTENING TO

Good morning guys,ah it feels like i haven't been on this in ages but as i said on my page i was out of a charger for my laptop and i was unable to use it for a few days,thank god pay day was only around the corner and i was able to pick one up yesterday :). So lets get this show and the road and here are my music tunes on this over cloudy humid morning and also what i have been turning up and banging out of my car lately. First up is 

Bruno Mars Treasure :) : I'm just loving all of Bruno tunes he brings out and this is no different Treasure just has that catchy feel to it and you would be left humming it all day. The video reminds me a bit of The Jacksons Blame it on the Boogie!!What do you think!

John Gibbons Feel : only heard this the other day and love it. Its a real summer tune and i'm sure its banging out of all the hot spots at the moment Ibiza, Ayia Napa and oh god wouldn't mind been there right now :)

Jason Derulo The Other Side : Guys Jason back after the incident were he fell off the stage and broke his vertebrae :o. This tune is also a catchy little number and  love when it gets to the fast part ya just wanna start jumping around the place. Its great to see him back after what he went through :)

BEAUTY MARC JACOBS MAKE-UP LINE

Fashion designer Marc Jacobs has turned his hands to make-up and teamed up with Sephora to launch a colourful collection featuring 122 pieces from it and some is going to be unisex. The new line will debut on the 9th of August at Sephore and selected Marc Jacobs stores. The pricing will start from $24 for a lip balm and up to $59 for a seven-colour eye-shadow palette.

The range will consists of four categories you'll have Smart complexion (foundations,concealer and powder), Blacquer (eyeliner,lash lifter and gel crayon), Hi-Per Colour (lipsticks,blush,eye-shadow,bronzer and nail polish),and Boy Tested, Girl Approved which is (unisex options of lip balm,brow gel and concealer). Its rumoured that Marc Jacobs could be leaving his post at Louis Vuitton when his contract ends in 2014 has also credited his teams help in finalizing the beauty line. 

The first tester of his products has been Sophia Coppola the director of The Bling Ring she got to wear his make-up to the Met Gala last month. He wants it to be low-maintenance and unfussy and helping girls to feel confident without perfection.

FESTIVAL FUN :))

Festival season has begun guys and fashion wise anything goes at these events. Nearly every country throws their own summer festivals and at the moment ours has kicked off. Just a few months back it all started with Coachella in America which does be held in a desert an event i wouldn't mind heading to ;-). Whether its a weekend or a day festival here are a couple of tips if your heading off to a summer festival this year :))

So what are the prime essentials while heading to a festival!! Well lets get started my 3 picks in clothing are :

Wellies are a must no matter what guys rain,sun and snow they always go down a treat and keep your feet nice and comfy. You can also get your hands on wellie socks i happen to pick them up last year in Penneys.

Shorts are also a key holder at any festivals beauties :),no matter if there denim,lace are just shorts rock them out at a festival your heading too. Again Penneys,Dunnes have a good range if not check on line from Boohoo to Misguided.

Rain Jackets or Poncho

Guys i always bring one of these because without a dept you will have to put it on sometime or another. Penneys and Dunnes Stores always have a great selection try i get ones with a clip on it so then you just have to clip it onto your bag. I believe the 2 euro shop and Mr. Price also do a selection of Rain Poncho!!

Accessories at a Festival:

Sunglasses once again their is no prefers on sunglasses anything goes while your at a festival.

Hair pieces:

Plaits and Flower headband were big at Coachella so why not bring it here!! I'm definitely going to be wearing a Flower headband this year :)). At a event last year in Marley Park i wore a small headband that had daisies on it :))

Face paint 

Guys this is also definitely a must this year and any year at a festival. I got my last year in Claire's and still have it. Its UV Paint and cant wait to wear it again :)). Guys don't go crazy on it just put it around the eye area, it'll look nicer :). Pixie Lott and Vanessa Hudgens are celebs who worked it this year.

Hygiene wise at a festival guys if its a day or weekend trip always bring:

Hand Gel 

Guys i have this everywhere my Soap and Glory one is in my car,my Cuticura is in my bag my ma thinks i have OCD on this lol. I just think its so handy and you will surely need to bring it with you. Everywhere has these Boots, Tesco, 2 euro shop just everywhere.

Wipes 

Baby Wipes/Make-up Wipes/Toilet Wipes if its a weekend festival bring all three. No matter what guys always bring something if anyone been to a festival you'll understand!!

Bottles of Water 

Stock up on loads of bottles of water especially heading off for the weekend your going to need it for everything and also hydrate yourself guys get a six pack of small bottles of water you will need it.

Hopefully i've giving a few handy helpful tips for anyone heading off to a festival this year and hope yous all have a good time and also be safe too :)). If anyone would like me to add more just let me know on my facebook page.

CLOTHES

Guys i'am finally getting a chance to get to do a bit of blogging on some of the clothes that i've put up on the page and that you have really liked :)). Since last week was so fine i wasn't at my laptop as much but now the weather has gone i'm back typing :)). God that beautiful weather seem so far away :(.

Next guys is the one with the most likes with over 1,200 cant believe it :o is Golden Child Body Con Dress $120.00. There are two websites that you are able to get it from and they are Rickety Rack and Clothes Envy. You'll be happy to know they are both on facebook and i've just added Clothes Envy :)).

Ok so i don't know whether its just me but i'm just coming across only the skirt on Clothes Envy and a White and Grey Damask Dress on Rickety Rack!! Need to dig deeper :))

ALMOND OIL

Since i've been a HealthCare Adviser at where i work guys the one item that always does be asked by the customers is do we have Almond Oil!! I don't stock it on my shelves but since so many have asked for it we went and ordered it in and i wrecking we do about 2 to 3 orders a week getting in six 70ml bottles of Almond Oil every time.

Again the customers are always looking for it for different reasons,so once again it has made me interested and i had to go and look it up and find out what it can be used for. Once again i'm taking aback with what it can do. So before you run out and get some there is in fact two types of Almond Oil a sweet and bitter almond oil. The bitter almond oil is taking from the bitter part of the almond plant and can actually be quite harmful so consumption is not recommended. Sweet almond oil on the other hand has some wonderful applications and has become more and more popular in the beauty industry. The sweet almond seed to make the oil does wonders for our skin,health and your hair.

AROMATHERAPY AND MASSAGE:

Its often used by massage therapists because its easily absorbed and is a great lubricant, its a natural moisturiser and therefore suitable for all skin types. Its also one of the most popular carrier oils, as its prevents the essential oils typically used in aromatherapy from causing any irritation and also gives off a wonderful and calming aroma.

SKIN EMOLLIENT:

Almond oil is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E and as a result is great for the skin. It helps to moisture and nourish the skin. It easily absorbed and is most effective for combating dry and irritated skin. Almond oil has a fine texture and will not leave your skin feeling greasy or block your pores. Its now been put into soaps and moisturisers and also help with the removal of dark circles under your eyes.

HEALTHY HAIR:

Almond oil's properties even extend to having benefits for our hair. Massaging a few drops of almond oil onto your scalp adds a healthy glow to your hair. It helps make your hair stronger, thicker and adds a shine as well as nourishing and smoothing hair cuticles. Its also known to facilitate hair growth.

OLIVE OIL SUBSTITUTE:

Almond oil can also be used for culinary uses. Almond oil is high in monounsaturated fats, omega-3 and essential fatty acids similar to olive oil and can be use as a healthy alternative when cooking. Almond oil can be used in salad dressings and is great for cooking meals like stir fry. It also does wonders for our digestive system by increasing the good bacteria in our stomach.

FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEA'S

Guys as i said its Father's Day this weekend the 16th to be more precise. I myself find its always a struggle getting something for my dad because i never really see anything different or new but i think i've got it easy this year as i was told to pick up a few t-shirts for him from his partner ;). 

Its probadly not gonna be that easy for you though but hopefully i'm here to save you with a little few ideas to make it a good Father's day for your daddy :).  These always go down a treat for Father's Day. I know my dad is always asking me to pick up something for him. A couple of places are doing 3 for 2 at the moment on Men's toiletries and i've just seen gift sets in Tesco aswell, so why not pick up some of his favourite brand and gift wrap it yourself.

AFTERCARE FROM THE SUN

So us Irish people when we see the sun alot of us don't take the right care when lying out in the sun e.g not putting the suncream on us. I seen a lot of it last night when out celebrating a family members birthday,we all looked like lobsters.

So what can we use to help if you get a bit to much sun!! 

Firstly a cool compresses

Any lotions or gel with Aloe Vera that would be my main one and also guys put it in the fridge for awhile because it will be so soothing for your poor burnt bits.

Natural yogurt heard this one from my mam 

Vinegar add it to a spray bottle or dab on with a towel then you need to cover the area with a tea towel for overnight relief. It will be a bit stinky but sure to cool you down.

And lastly drink loads of fluids to keep yourself hydrated 

So in the end guys is it really worth it to put ourselves through the pain of sunburn just throw on the suncream and you'll have a more enjoyable time in the sun and you wont be missing out when your lying up in the house recovering.

SHOES

Guys my next piece is going to be on these shoes but sadly its quite short. Since i went and put up the picture on my facebook page a few of yous asked me 'Where could you get them' and let me tell you i have been searching none stop for them but it comes to an end tonight :(. When searching guys i would get so far and then nothing so in a way i felt their was a reason for it and the reason is they have stopped stocking them boohoo because they are only gorgeous :((

I'm going to do a couple of pieces that involve the clothes i've put up on my page. I've noticed a few of you's have liked it or have asked me where can you get them. So first stop is the Beige polka dot trousers,well so i thought but they are in fact skinny jeans. If you don't know by now but Dots are going to be a bit of a trend :))
