Fashion designer Marc Jacobs has turned his hands to make-up and teamed up with Sephora to launch a colourful collection featuring 122 pieces from it and some is going to be unisex. The new line will debut on the 9th of August at Sephore and selected Marc Jacobs stores. The pricing will start from $24 for a lip balm and up to $59 for a seven-colour eye-shadow palette.
The range will consists of four categories you'll have Smart complexion (foundations,concealer and powder), Blacquer (eyeliner,lash lifter and gel crayon), Hi-Per Colour (lipsticks,blush,eye-shadow,bronzer and nail polish),and Boy Tested, Girl Approved which is (unisex options of lip balm,brow gel and concealer). Its rumoured that Marc Jacobs could be leaving his post at Louis Vuitton when his contract ends in 2014 has also credited his teams help in finalizing the beauty line.
The first tester of his products has been Sophia Coppola the director of The Bling Ring she got to wear his make-up to the Met Gala last month. He wants it to be low-maintenance and unfussy and helping girls to feel confident without perfection.
