WEEKEND SHENANIGANS

Happy Tuesday :)

Here's what I got up to over the weekend!! Doesn't the weekend fly when your having fun :). I think from Monday to Friday we should have off an then just go in an work Saturday and Sunday bahahaha. On Saturday my sister and myself headed over to Rathcoole for a brunch/engagement get together. The eight of us girl's all meet-up in Avoca,Rathcoole for a bite to eat in the Egg Cafe. I will be making a trip back here to have a proper look around. Great choices from the lunch menu that we all didn't know what to have. In the end i went with the crab salad, yummy,um mm! I already have my next pick from the menu the seafood platter ;).

My sister organised a surprise pavlova cake that when you cut into it it had mixed berries inside. It was for Marie who recently got engaged, congrats honey. Jeanie this was huge they went all out for us,fair play. Then again it was soooooo good topped it of with a good old cup of cappuccino. It was time to say our fare wells we asked for the bill and it was a nice reasonable price bill for the eight of us.

With Halloween just around the corner i always wanted to know if anywhere around Ireland had a Pumpkin patch. To my surprise there was :o. This is what myself, sister and another group of friends did on Sunday. Always loved seen pictures of the celebs heading to a pumpkin patch with their family members. I was determined even more. When i found out where we had to head we popped into two separate cars an made the journey down. Our destination was Summerhill,Meath and approximately 40 plus mins. This is open from 10.00a.m to 5.00p.m. Guys get down early enough as its in a field off the back of country roads,so not much parking and bring the wellies as it's quite mucky.

Also to throw it out there this is free apart from paying for your chosen pumpkin. Pumpkins everywhere big ones, small ones and different coloured ones. Pumpkin, pumpkin, pumpkin. The little guy was impress after that nothing more. Maybe they do cravings but i did over hear the owner say they had the boy scouts down the day before,so they probably do do extra activities. After looking at all the pumpkin we decided to make a move back. On the way we did a pit stop into Hattons cafe for some tea/coffee and something small to eat. It was a very cosy little place the decor was so now you'd be surprise. My plate of chicken wings arrived i got stuck in. All the waitress were lovely to talk too. After all was done we had to make our journey back home. When we got home we both put up our feet and just chilled for the rest of the day.
